Breaking the Silence Through Community Leadership Training

Between 28 April and 2 May 2026, TGNP brought together a diverse group of community members, leaders and advocates for an intensive community leadership training program focused on the prevention of gender-based violence and advance gender equality. Participants from Mabogini (Moshi DC), Mgagao (Mwanga), and Kalenga (Iringa) reinforced the importance of community-driven action in creating safer and more equitable communities.

Celebrating Five Years of RWCC in Manyara

By blending agroecology, economic justice, and leadership opportunities the RWCC project continues to prove that rural women can transform their communities.
The annual RWCC reflection meeting in Babati, Manyara provided the opportunity for participants to make recommendations for the final year of the project.

WLER PROJECT IGNITES WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP IN TANZANIA

The WLER project, led by TGNP with support from UN Women and Finland, is expanding women’s leadership and economic rights across four regions in Tanzania. During the endline field visits, community members shared their individual and collective success stories and identified best practices to inform future programming and policy advocacy.

Catalysing Change in Kigoma

TGNP supported Knowledge Centers in Kigoma, Tanzania by conducting a series of community dialogues and capacity-building sessions between September 3 and 7, 2025.

By building the capacity of KC members and fostering collaboration among KCs and community leadership, TGNP is helping to create a foundation for lasting change, driven by the people who know their communities best.
