What We Do
TGNP’s Ideology and philosophy is built on Transformative Feminism, which is a struggle that aims to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women and other marginalized groups, whether due to class, sex, gender, age, ethnicity, disability, geographical and nationality locations.
Our
Thematic
Areas
TGNP draws on a range of strategies that connect advocacy, community engagement, and capacity building to drive lasting gender equality.
Networking
At the national level, TGNP engages in networking, and coalition and alliance-building to create a collective voice and take action in advocating for gender-responsive policies, budgets, plans, and strategies. To join a network or coalition, contact us at info@tgnp.or.tz.
IMBC
At the local level, TGNP implements projects in collaboration with grassroots activists and community groups. Our goal is to support communities to identify the root causes of the issues that affect women, girls, people with disabilities, and other marginalised groups. This is accomplished through the Intensive Movement Building Cycle (IMBC), which aims to strengthen and expand the transformative women's movement at the grassroots level.
