TGNP SUPPORTS WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
DURING THE ONE-DAY SUMMIT WE WILL:
Since 2000, TGNP has championed the 50/50 campaign rooted in the post-Beijing Declaration Initiative that seeks to increase the number of women who participate in leadership positions, at local, regional, and national levels.
This year, TGNP has promoted the Beijing+30: HER Vision 2050 / Miaka 30 Beijing ya Tanzania Tuitakayo 2050 theme, which aligns with global and national aspirations to achieve gender equality.
To close out our incredible year of accomplishments, we want to bring together women leaders to Celebrate, Reflect, and Envision a future where girls and women can thrive in all sectors of life by 2050.

Reflect on the process of aspirants, candidates, and women recently elected into leadership positions.
Envision the way forward and advocate for women’s participation and inclusion in decision-making processes and positions, specifically for the 2025 national elections.
