Prevention, Response and Accountability for GBV through training of Duty Bearers

Project Goal: To reduced incidences of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and other harmful traditional practices through policy advocacy and technical support to local level CSOs working in GBV interventions and their respective LGA.

Supporting the Sustainable Agriculture to Reduce Gender Based Violence

Project Ultimate Outcome: Increased income of Knowledge Centre members which contributes to reducing violence against women and girls in Kibuko and Kiroka wards in the districts of Morogoro in Tanzania for period of 2020-2021

Rural Women Cultivating Change (RWCC)

The Rural Women Cultivating Change (RWCC) project seeks to shift the attitudes, systems and structures that limit the potential of diverse young and adult rural women smallholder farmers, particularly female heads of households and survivors of gender based violence in Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Kenya.Adaptation period of 2021 to 2027

WOMEN LEADERSHIP AND ECONOMIC RIGHTS PROJECT (WLER)

  The project aims at empowering women and girls through leadership, participation, and economic opportunities at the local level. It works with women’s groups, local councils, and traditional authorities to transform discriminatory gender norms and practices. This project builds on lessons learned from the Women’s Leadership and Political Participation Project (Wanawake Wanaweza) Phase II (2017-2021) and Phase I (2014 – 2017) which identified these norms and lack of economic opportunities as barriers to women’s leadership.Adaptation period 2023-2024
